Well done Tony and Karl!

According to the organisers “the focus today was on the half marathon (21.1 km), the 10 km and 5 km, with the three races open to participants aged 18 and over. At 21.1 km and 10 km, the route involves passing through the centre of the town of Cascais and Estrada do Guincho, with a privileged view of the Atlantic Ocean.”

Cascais is 30km to the west of Lisbon – “a charming and traditional fishing town, which is situated on a coastline of beautiful sandy beaches. Cascais is the most popular holiday destination of the Lisbon region, and is also an enjoyable day trip from Lisbon, offering grand 19th-century villas, fascinating museums and an abundance of Portuguese charm.”
