Well done to the Connemarathon Five

Well done to five members who tested their endurance when competing over tough but scenic terrain in the Connemarathon events today.

Mike Griffin finished 23rd in the Half-marathon in 1:32.43 (1:33.30).
Tom McEnery was the winner in 1:20.09, and Áine Kenny Crusaders AC first woman in 1:36.51.
Colin Clancy was first of three members who ran the UltraMarathon (39.3 miles). He finished 32nd in 5:54.13 just ahead of
Mark Basquille and David McGrath 38th/39th respectively in 6:05.08 (6:04.55).
Winner was Stu Rawlinson Wanderers AC in 4:23.50, with Sandra McKeever Foyle Valley AC first woman across the line in 5:16.23.
And Tom Jennings paced in the marathon coming home in 3:58.40 in 99th place.
Wonderful achievements – Congratulations to all five!
