Weekend Round-up seven events

Brendan Hession (Mayo AC) has been in great form recently and claimed a clear victory in Claremorris 5 in 29:33, with clubmate Patrick Walsh second 31:01.
Mary Gleeson made a welcome return to racing since winning the Kilmovee 10k in April, coming home first in the women’s race in 32:05. Pauline Moran (Mayo AC) improved her Ballyhaunis 8k time by almost a minute to finish second woman in a great time 34:35
The o50 men have had an interesting battle all summer and this time Mayo AC’s Dominic Regan was sandwiched between Hugh Duffy and Michael Sweeney, both of whom returned to racing recently and showed they have regained top form.
All three have achieved high ranking points in the Move2Improve Series.
The final chance to win points is next Sunday in Breaffy at their 4th annual 10k.
