Weekend results: updated

The week began with magical misty mornings and whins covered in silvery duvets. Midweek brought the Autumn Equinox, marking the official end of summer and the beginning of the Autumn season in the Northern Hemisphere. Swallows set out on the return flightpath of their ultra marathon to the Southern Hemisphere.  And the weekend breezed in with scudding clouds, surging streams and rivers overflowing.  Of course, training and racing went ahead on the West’s many all-weather surfaces, regardless.
