Darren Flanagan and Wesley Hurst celebrate after Limerick Marathon

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The North Connacht Schools Track and Field Championships took place on Saturday April 29 at Sligo.

Miley McAndrew representing St Colman’s Claremorris was competing.

In the Senior Boys 400m he finished with a bronze in 59:95, race winner was Joe Campbell Summerhill Sligo in a fast 51:52.

Mikey was fifth in 200m in 26:52 – the winner was his sprint group training partner David Forkan SMP Swinford in 23:38. Well done Mikey! He’s our youngest member.

 

On Sunday we had two runners in the Great Limerick Marathon. Darren Flanagan ran a great time 2.53.34  a new PB – he finished with 2:59 in Dublin 2022. Wesley Hurst finished in 3.08.27 just outside his 3:07
