We are acting on confirmation from Athletics Ireland that training can still continue outdoors for groups (pods) of 15.
We always wait for guidelines from Athletics Ireland and use them as our source for information and communication to avoid confusion.
Some small changes:
- One track session per member – this will help limit contacts.
- All sessions to be booked on the app, however it can only be done on the day of training itself i.e Tuesday morning and Thursday morning.,
As Maria adds “The last 48 hours has been extremely tough on everyone with speculation and talks of going into full lockdown.
We have worked together since the track sessions have resumed to keep each other safe and follow the guidelines, and this will continue.
Also during this time, it is important that we talk to one another, as these restrictions are hard on people and we can all react differently.
