Track sessions are held place each Tuesday evening at St Mary’s track Castlebar GMIT, and on Thursday evening at Claremorris Athletics track.
Sessions are from 7pm – 8pm.
Allow time for warm up from 6.30pm

Track sessions are €3.00 per member – please pay this in full on the gate each evening.
Castlebar Fit4Life meet each Monday and Thursday at 7pm in the small car park near Aldi Bridge.

All abilities are very welcome, we ‘buddy up’ so nobody is left behind. We run around Lough Lannagh, adding in the lane beside the graveyard and returning to Lough Lannagh via the lane beside Blackfort Manor.
One long lap and one flat lap makes up just over 5km, usual distances covered are 5km, 8km or 10km.
There is no obligation to do any set distance on any night, many people have other commitments, so this flexibility allows people to fit F4L around their own lives.
Many new friendships have been made while running on a Mon or Thurs and with races coming back on-stream plans are being made to attend on masse!!
Castlebar Tri Club have very kindly invited our group to join in their track session at St Mary’s Track every Thurs at 7pm so members have options to challenge themselves more on Thursdays if they so wish.
