Sympathy
Thanks to Ann McDonnell for this warm tribute:
We got some sad news today. Lorraine Keane who has been battling cancer since only last July lost her fight this morning. She only started running about a year and a half ago and joined Fit4Life. She fitted right in with her friendly attitude and her eternal smiley face. Always one for a challenge she took part in our 5k series in the last two years and ran a number of 10ks around the county. Last year, she took on the bigger challenge of her first half marathon in Ballina, which she was very proud to complete. She joked that it was the prospect of a good night out afterwards that kept her going – this was typical of her attitude, always making a joke. She will be sorely missed from our Fit4Life group. RIP.
