Athenry 10k – updated, Manulla 4
We had ten finishers in the Fields of Athenry 10k held in what were described as “less than ideal conditions”. A number of them were among the prizewinners. Catherine Conway continued a run of excellent performances in this race with a great second place in the women’s section finishing just a few seconds outside her recent PB in 36:08. Not far behind Catherine a tenacious 4th place run by Colette Tuohy won the W40 category. In form Paddy O’Toole led our men home in 19th place overall in 35:14, with Michael O’Malley a fine second M50.
