Sinéad Diver magnificent pb in Zatopek 10,000 metres

Congratulations to Mayo AC member Sinéad DiverDiversion who continued her wonderful 2018 performances last week in Melbourne when she smashed her personal best time in the annual Zatopek 10,000 metres in 31:50.98 – finishing second behind Niiya Hitomi of Japan 31:32.50.

“Less than a second off a World Championships qualifier for Doha 2019 but I come away with the National title and big PB for 10000m so can’t be too disappointed”.

Sinéad runs with South Melbourne AC in her adopted home town and following her fantastic half marathon and marathon pbs in 2018 is in line to represent Australia in the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.
