Ros Go Run Loughglynn, Sunday September 1.
A showery day for all runners over the three separate rural courses – Half Marathon, 10k and 5k – in this well organised event.
The sixth annual Ros Go Run raised funds for three organisations – MS Ireland, Éire Óg GAA and Lisacul Community Development. The start and finish was outside the Éire Óg GAA club near Loughglynn.
Mayo AC had eleven runners competing. They included four top finishers – 10k winner Johnny Cribbin M50 40:27, 2nd placed woman Donna Gallagher 46:31, Paula Donnellan 4th woman in Half Marathon 1:39.04, and Dominic Regan 3rd in 5k in 21:10
Well done to all eleven members.
