Clonbur 10k top three: l-r 3rd Tony O’Malley, 1st Daire Comer, 2nd Noel Gibbons

On Saturday, April 28 in New York, Patrick Jordan completed the NYCRUNS Verrazano Half Marathon,  finishing with a time of 2:03:10. He was 7th in the men’s 50-59 age group and overall 233rd out of 467 – average mile split was: 9:24/m.
He says” It was a very cool morning and very foggy running along the Brooklyn waterfront starting in Bay Ridge and completing 4 loops up to and back from the  *Verrazano Narrows Bridge. The course was flat and ideal for a good time.
Thanks again for allowing me to join the club. This will serve to incentivize me to pick up the pace and post some good times. I have been running and training very casually, to be honest, so it will be nice to see what I can do with a bit more effort and focus.”

Well done Patrick, thanks for the update and good to hear the club vest is helping to motivate you.

His next race is this coming weekend, the Pittsburgh (PA) Marathon on Sunday, May 6.

And in Clonbur the Fr Micheal Mannion Annual 10k took place in on Sunday (April 29).
