London based member Henry Hughes from Westport, who ran so well in his first club outing at the National Half marathon was racing in Dublin at the week-end. He says ” the Rathfarnham 5k was an interesting race, 1000 people running 5km is a bit much really, finished in 17:13 chip time which is a 7 second pb, pretty happy with that though. I’ll probably come over for one of the cross country fixtures before I do the marathon, possibly the Senior/Novice county or the Novice Connachts”.  Well done on your PB Henry, making up for a disappointing trip to Jones Road.
