Well done to members who competed over the last couple of weekends.
On March 26, Mary Murphy finished first o60 woman in 2:07.25 in the Wicklow Gaol Break Half Marathon. Results www.redtagtiming.com
On Sunday April 2, the Ros Go Run featured three races. In the 10k, Seán Murphy finished third in 37:46. Winner was Richard Gorman (Sligo AC) in 32:44.
We had two finishers
In the Half Marathon our three finishers were led home by Turlough 8k organiser Frank Cloherty who ran 1:47.11 – over a minute up on his previous best? half a couple of years ago in Ballina. Ballyhaunis based Justin McDonagh 1:52.10 and Tracy Cunnane 1:54.11 were next, both showing good early season form. The winner was Wayne Reid (Athlone Tri Club) 80:24.
The marathon was won by Jerome Debize (GCH) in 2:52.47.
