The closing date for entry to the National Intermediate & Masters Cross Country Championships in Tuam on Sunday February 8th is Friday 30th January.
Inform our Club Secretary Trisha Carty 087 418 0590 before 30 Jan if you intend competing. Teams will need to be put together etc.
Entries for National Championship events (Cross Country, Indoors/Outdoors T&F and Road) are completed online. The Athletics Ireland link is on our homepage – ‘Competition’ calendar details championship Fixtures, and ‘Runzone’ shows permitted events.
Members intending to compete in any championship event are advised to check the entry date deadline – there are no entries allowed after that date.
In adddition, our events calendar on the homepage will show details where known. Some future events on AAI website may indicate TBC – location, deadline, timetable – to be confirmed.
Members who intend competing are responsible for supplying all necessary details to meet entry deadline requirements. This will apply throughout the year you should not rely on reminders. Entry for championship events are paid for by the club. Entrants who do not compete in a championship event are due to re-imburse the club in line with current agreed policy This does not apply to the National Marathon (Dublin) where you pay your entry directly.
If you are representing the club in the National Marathon championships you will need to be registered via the club as team/individual.
Club vests must be worn when representing the club at championship events. Members are encouraged to wear our vest at all other races
