The 3rd  Ballyhaunis 8k run and walk takes place  Saturday evening[28th] starting at 5pm .This popular event which has an aai permit  is open to all who want to run jog or walk .While it is expected that the event will attract many of the leading  runners from around the West it is also hoped that many locals will join in the fun and take part. Race headquarters  will once again be the excellent facilities of Ballyhaunis Rugby club on Doctors Road .Local business Finn Footwear are the main sponsor of the event which is also Race No.5 in the 2010 Mayo AC/ C+C Cellular League while Ballyhaunis native Frank Greally Editor of Irish Runner Magazine is also supporting the event…
*dressing rooms+ showers  available for all
*refreshments +prizegiving will take place in the Rugby Club afterwards
*all who take part will receive a commerative medallion
*entries at €15 will be taken from 3.30 pm at the Rugby Club
