Paula 4th in Dublin Half
There’s a clutch of half marathons on the current calendar and many runners are hoping they will help in the plan being hatched for autumn marathons, such as Dublin in five weeks time. On Saturday Paula Prendergast finished 4th woman in the Dublin Half Marathon in 87:10 (86:57 chip). She was almost six minutes faster than last month’s National Half 92:45. A great run by Paula and she was very happy with the result given a busy work schedule in the lead in and reduced miles in training. As she says ‘it may have been an advantage’. It’s always wise to arrive fresh on the start line. The Dublin Half course is within the confines of the 1500 acres of Phoenix Park.
