New year results

In new year 5ks a few members opened their 2015 accounts, most just picking up where they left off in 2014. Margaret Glavey continued her excellent Athenry 10k form in Galway on 1st January. She finished 9th woman overall and easily first F60 in 22:26 in a field of 376. In Westport we had three finishers in a row – 10,11,12th in a field of 132. Anto Devaney 18:36, Colette Tuohy 19:03 first woman home, and Michael McNeela making an excellent return to racing in 19:08.
