National 10k entry
The next championship event of 2015 is the AAI National 10k in the Phoenix Park on Saturday 11th April.After success in Tuam and Athlone we are looking to add to our 16 National medals won so far. We have had significant medal success in both teams and individual categories in recent years. In 2013, twenty one members competed, last year twenty four. Details for National 10k which is incorporated in the Great Ireland Run are on our events calendar.
Most members will have already decided they are competing.
In any case, all members who intend running should now text Trisha 087 418 0590 or email trishacarty@gmail.com by Tuesday 31st March.
You will need to be registered with the club. 2015 Registration form is on website. Entry fee 29 euro is being covered by the club.
Following 31st March, we have time for teams to be arranged, and other checks made to make sure you are entered in correct category.
For both men and women, teams are Senior, 35+, and 50+. Individual categories are according to age.

Travel: for those who wish to avail of it, a bus will leave from Balla on race morning, stopping at Claremorris, Ballyhaunis. Details to follow.
Between now and the National 10k there a selection of 3 10k AAI Permitted races listed on our events calendar where you can test out race pace. They include our first 2015 Move2Improve event, the Kilmovee 10k on Saturday 4th April.
10k race pace has been a focus during our Thursday evening track sessions, and many will be looking to improve in this championship event.
