Mayo AC great day out @ National Half Tullamore (updated)
Some more images of our brilliant runners in action in the National Half-marathon yesterday.
Provisional medal tally:
Norah Newcombe: Senior bronze,
W35 women’s team Norah, Colette, Donna show Mayo AC with a combined time of 4:20.54 in gold!
Four other excellent individual category medals:
Norah Newcombe gold W40, Pauline Moran gold W65,
Mags Glavey silver W70,
Mary Murphy bronze W70.
Club Chairman John Byrne says “Great day out in Tullamore. Great to see a big National Championship back in club hands again. Super organisation from Tullamore Harriers. A fantastic turnout from Mayo AC and super performances all round.”

And in another half-marathon today (August 27) well done to David Dinsmore who ran a great time 1:34.22 in the Antrim Coast event at Larne, fourth in M65 category. That finish time would have won M65 bronze in yesterday’s National Half-marathon in Tullamore. See photo below.
