Mayo AC 4 miler important information

Event arrangements for the Mayo AC 4 miler at Foxford on Sunday next September 25 at 1pm:

•Online registration closes at 9am on Sunday morning with number collection from 10.30-12.

•Limited registration will be available on the day from 10.30-12 in Foxford Leisure Centre,  – we really encourage people to register online beforehand. Cash & Card accepted

•Startline is 800m from registration so allow time to get to the start for 1pm

•Race numbers to be worn on the front during the event

•Parking will be available at:

Leisure Centre,

Straide & Foxford Utd grounds,

carpark across from Post Office,

behind Centra,

and at the seconday school.

•The route is fully marshalled & signed.  If anyone has any issue, please inform the nearest marshal.

•Water stop is at the 2 Mile mark with bins  100m after.  We ask all participants to please respect the environment and leave no trace by using the bins provided

•The course is marked out in miles with markers at each mile

•Post race refreshments in Leisure Centre after the event

•Prize giving in Leisure Centre after event. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd men & women, with race winners also receiving the Ann Murray Perpetual Cup & Mickey Ruane Perpetual Shield.

Prizes also for first O50 man & woman.

There will be 4 extra prizes based on a random draw of all participants.
