May Day Marathon for Marcella and Ciara

Congratulations to Marcella McDonnell and her daughter Ciara who completed the Belfast City Marathon today. Our two members joined thousands on the 0930 start line in brilliant May Day weather – an ideal 12℃ as they began and warming up to 16℃ at the finish.

Marcella (F50) was first to finish in 4:11.18 (chip) and Ciara crossed the line in 4:24.25. Kiltimagh based Marcella was in our team at the 2016 Dublin City Marathon when she finished in 4:02.58.
