Marathon PB for Anne Marie Staunton in Belfast

You’ll have read here about Anne Marie Staunton’s PB in the Kilnaboy 10 mile when she ran 74:23. That was on April 10 and it was part of her preparation for the Belfast City Marathon held last Monday May 2. On a dry windy day she completed the tough first half in in 1:43.25 and went on to finish in 3:29.41 (chip 3:28.28). That was a brilliant performance and a personal best time by over fourteen minutes, having finished the 2014 Dublin Marathon in 3:43.47. A year earlier she had completed Dublin in 3:52.04. The stats tell the story and behind them is a lot of hard work and dedication. Well deserved – well done Anne Marie!
