June 5, Summer Series Ballinrobe 5k next Club League race

The third Vodafone Summer Series 5k at Ballinrobe tomorrow (Tuesday evening June 5)  is also a Club League race. Members will be awarded points based on their finish place and bonus points for any who achieve PBs.

The Foxford 5k produced many fast times. Ballinrobe is similarly recognised as having a fast flat one lap course, though it may not have the cool running conditions experienced at Foxford.

It will be warm tomorrow evening as it was in Ballyhaunis last week, so sensible preparation is advised. As usual you’re asked to arrive early and if you’ve entered the series make sure you bring the bib number issued when you registered. Last year’s race had the biggest field of the Series albeit it was the final race including after party.
