Good luck in Dublin City Marathon

The best of luck to our Mayo AC members as they head up to their various base camps for the 39th Dublin City Marathon incorporating the national championships.

We have a record entry this year – a fantastic achievement. Once again our teams – senior, over 35 and 50 – represent a broad spectrum of the club from experienced marathon runners to first timers.
They have all trained hard, put in the long runs and competed in races in preparation for the 26.2 task.

This year finishers will receive the Constance Markievicz medal as part of a commemoration of 100 years since women got the vote in Ireland and it’s also the centenary of Countess Markievicz being the first woman elected to the Dáil.
