Fit4Life is a group for all runners, whether you are a complete beginner or a regular jogging/runner. The group will help you to achieve improved levels of fitness and wellness, within a club structure, in a fun, sociable environment. Even if you have never run for a bus before, the leaders will bring you along at your own pace and encourage you all the way. You will be grouped with people of a similar level of ability on the evening and encouraged to progress from walking to jogging to running.
For the runner with a bit more experience, you can team up with runners of similar ability and improve your own performance. Being part of a group can act as the motivation we all need to get out that door in the evening, particularly on these winter evenings. If you are a runner who normally runs alone, you might just find that having someone running alongside you will motivate you to keep moving just that little bit longer or faster than usual.
Fit4Life is a very sociable group, over time, firm friendships have formed and we have many social gatherings during the year, we have been known to devour pizza or 10 over a few drinks!
So, whether you would like to just climb the stairs without being out of breath, or run a 5k/10k, half marathon, marathon or beyond, we will do our best to support you to achieve your goal.
There are always leaders there to guide beginners so you have nothing to fear! See you all soon.
