Drummin, Smilin’, Weddin’…..

Drummin – After an exciting few weeks of competition many are taking stock, reviewing plans, and focusing on future races. Over the next couple of weeks you’ll see that the events calendar has full details of two events, with medals, points and prizes to be won.
First of these is the County Mayo 10k Championship race, promoted by Mayo Athletics County Board, which takes place on Wednesday evening next 19th August at Drummin, near Westport.
Club vests must be worn. Check out terms and conditions and other details including directions to the race on our events calendar.

Smilin’ – Ten days later we have our fifth 2015 Vodafone Move2Improve race on the evening of Saturday 29th August – the DeCare Dental Sport-a-Smile Claremorris 5 mile. Again check out entry and course details for this traditional race.

Weddin’ – Congratulations from all at Mayo AC to our very own Tracy Durkan, who got married yesterday (Saturday 15th) in Balla. Best Wishes to Tracy and Michael for their future.
