Mayo Cross Country: Mayo AC women’s Senior team gold medal winners
The National Schools Connacht cross country and Senior Leg 1 scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday in Roscommon is now cancelled due to the imminent storm.
The Connacht Region organisers hope to reschedule the event in the next couple of weeks dependant upon the availability of the venue.
The Cross Country season continues
on Sunday with the Open Autumn Cross Country and Masters trial races are at Abbotstown.
And also on Sunday during the Unevens cross country members have a chance to run at Belleek. Ideal for anyone who has not run in a cross country race before and wants to try it out. At Belleek seniors/masters can run with U19s if they have paid the registration. Unevens races start at 11am, €7/athlete, Registration, medals and refreshments at the Athletics Club House.
Please park on the Greenway side of the road only and respect the local houses.
The next scheduled Connacht League race is on Sunday October 29 at Calry, and it is followed a Leg at Moyne College Longford on Sunday November 5. The arrangements for Roscommon leg will be circulated. Check with events calendar for entry arrangements and deadlines.
