Connacht Outdoor T&F Championships Dangan, June 7.

It was a busy day for Connacht Athletics officials at Dangan today. Many thanks to them all for organising an excellent full schedule of track and field events.

They gave athletes a welcome opportunity to compete again and measure their form in a range of races from 100m to 3,000, relays, as well as field events.
The sun shone – there was an  exciting atmosphere and  superb competition to enjoy.
In addition there were Connacht championship medals up for grabs.
Seven Mayo AC Senior and masters athletes won a total of eleven medals. Well done to all of our competitors and congratulations to medal winners on another successful day for the club.

Sean Hynes SM:  400m 2nd; 1500m 6th.

Martin Peyton (M65+) 1st in Shot put, javelin, discus.

Mike Griffin M35 400m 4th; 800m 2nd.

Conor Duffy SM 100m 8th, 200m 7th.

Paula Donnellan F35 3,000m 3rd.

Noelle Kilduff F35 100m 3rd; 200m 1st; 400m 1st.

Declan Owens SM 100m 4th; 200m 6th in 24:82pb;  Connacht Dream team mixed 4x100m relay 1st.

Tom Hunt M65+ 3,000m 2nd.

Stephen Skillington (M50-64) 3,000m DNF.

John Brennan M35 400m 2nd.
