Competing
We compete in county, regional, and national championships on road, track & field, cross country and international events.
As a member, you may be part of a club team as well as competing as individual in senior or age categories.
The club pays entry fees for county, regional and national championships - apart from the National marathon.
You may also want to compete in road or cross-country races, track and field events on the athletics calendar – make sure you put the club name (Mayo AC) on entry forms so we can easily identify you and recognise your achievement.
If you would like to move to a new level, we welcome anyone who is looking to improve within a supportive and encouraging club environment.
Above all, be the best you can be - and have fun!
