Thank you to all who have renewed club membership for 2020 in the first weeks of January. Welcome too to those former members who have re-registered and to a number of new members. Mayo AC membership fees cover a calendar year and are now due for 2020 – fees cover from January 1 to December 31.

Renewal of registration for existing members is now due. New members are always welcome to join the club and former members are encouraged to re-register.

The club €45 registration fee is standard throughout the year and includes €20 which goes to Athletics Ireland to pay for insurance cover.

Registration can now be paid online See https://membership.athleticsireland.ie/joinclub.html.

Please note there is an additional fee for online entry.

Alternatively, you can pay our membership fee directly to the club through your bank.

As our club registration 2020 Membership Fee Details and Benefits page also states “You will be able to train under our coach at twice weekly track sessions, join one of our organised long runs, or join one of our Fit4Life groups – you can pay membership to group leaders”

Fully paid up members are eligible to attend our weekly coached training sessions at Castlebar and Claremorris.

Please note: there is an additional fee due to be paid prior to each track session.

You can check CLUB TRAINING TIMES & LOCATIONS for track at Claremorris and Castlebar, and for Fit4Life groups at Ballyhaunis, Castlebar and Claremorris on our homepage.

We compete in county, regional, and national championships on road, track & field and cross country.

If you want to compete you will need to be registered with Athletics Ireland for 2020 and wear your club vest.

Upcoming championships are listed on our events calendar and on Athletics Ireland competition fixtures.

In addition there is an opportunity to experience International indoor athletics at Athlone on February 12:
