Club League tables after Claremorris 8k
Back-to-back weekend racers Keith Holland ahead of Padraig McVann in Claremorris
Following the Decare Dental 8k held on Sunday August 27 in Claremorris, with 15 members taking part, Club League Tables have been updated.
Congratulations to Padraig McVann 33:58, and Emmet O’Brien 35:55 who achieved a PB on the day and received 20 bonus points. That’s yet another impressive milestone by Padraig after his fine performance (73:53) in the tough Warriors Run on Saturday afternoon. Keith Holland (33:49) who finished just ahead of him in Claremorris also ran back-to-back races at the weekend finishing the Claregalway 10k in 42:13 on Saturday evening.
Ann Marie Clarke, Angela McVann, Edel Feeney, Patricia Carty, Monica Joyce, Sean Murphy, Brendan Hession, Padraig McVann and Brendan Murphy have completed over 6 races in the league, so their scores are their best of 6 races.
The next Club League race is the County 10k Championships hosted by Moy Valley AC on Sunday September 3. Details were received today and are on our events calendar. It is open to all currently registered club athletes in the county and is one of our bonus events – members who participate receive 20 bonus points.

As you can see from League Tables (attached in pdf form) you may not win race but by achieving a PB on the day you can clock up some points to be top of the table.
