Kiltullagh 10k, Knock 5k

It was another weather affected sporting weekend. A couple of events got the go ahead. At Kiltullagh NS 10k Gerry Carty (GCH) led a field of 88 home in 35:05. Well done to Seán Murphy who was our only runner there – he finished third in a photo finish 36:44.

Tadgh and Colette are Ballyhaunis 8k winners

The 8th Annual RunWest Ballyhaunis 8k took place on Sunday afternoon. The race was also the sixth in Mayo AC’s Move2Improve Series sponsored by Vodafone, with points to be won at all three levels. Conditions were great for running on a dry afternoon.The tough climbs at 4/5k provided a extra challenge for the 65 finishers.
