Best of luck to Sinéad Diver in London Marathon

As we’ve regularly documented here, she had a fantastic year in 2018, breaking records and achieving new pbs at four different distances.
Neither Sinéad nor her parents were able to attend the Co Board Awards, so we presented them with her Special Achievement trophy.
Like us they are very proud of Sinéad – and say she is delighted to continue to be a member of Mayo AC.
On April 7 last they accepted a beautiful trophy when the local Erris community honoured Sinéad with the 2018 Erris Exile of the Year Award.
Obviously, excitement is building towards next Sunday when she is among the elite women for the London Marathon. It’s a major stepping stone towards her primary focus – running for Australia in the Tokyo Olympics.
We all wish Sinéad the best of luck on Sunday.
Good luck too to our other competitor James Murtagh who is also running in London
