Ballyhaunis Meet &Train news

Keeping the Fit4Life momentum ticking over, this is the latest from our Ballyhaunis group:
Tuesday Jan 22: An update from Martin Fitzmaurice, Leader Meet & Train Ballyhaunis.
“We held a registration evening this evening. We have a number of new faces. Some just came in to register and will join us on Saturday morning. Some stayed on and many of our existing members re-registered. It’s great to see some fresh faces and people with aspirations of achieving fitness at differing levels. We have a few people who just wish to walk and to get out and get fit. We have some walkers who want to do a little jogging, and a few with distance ambitions. But we will try to cater for all and have some fun along the way. The Ballyhaunis motto is : ” Quitting is not an option”.
While we held an official registration tonight, people are welcome to join at any stage. We will do our best to guide them in line with the level of fitness they aspire to. So come along and give it a try and see what you are missing. If you need any information, you can ring Martin Fitzmaurice at 087 2455 989.
Just to remind you again; Ballyhaunis Meet and Train go out on Tuesday evenings at 7 pm and Saturday mornings at 9 am. We normally meet at The Ball Court in the Friary Field, beside Londis. Duration is approx 1 hour and may vary depending on whats happening. We vary routes and very rarely cover the same route in succession, so there’s loads of variety.”
