Ballyhaunis 5k results

The first race in Mayo AC 2016 Vodafone C&C Cellular 5k Series took place in Ballyhaunis this evening. Conditions were fine and sunny. There were 166  finishers. Well done to the Ballyhaunis organisers led by Martin Fitzmaurice.

First three:

Men: 1 Eamonn Staunton (Westport AC) 16:14, 2 Sean Murphy (Mayo AC) 17:56, 3 Brendan Hession 18:25

Women: 1 Kathy Gleeson 19:11, 2 Sarah Syron (Mayo AC) 19:48, 3 Laura Heneghan (Mayo AC) 22:14

The second series race is at Brickens, next Tuesday May 31, 8pm sharp. Registration at Community Centre from 6:30pm..
