All National medals due to members will be presented after the Balla 10k tomorrow at 8:15pm. After the recent 5k series you can step up to the 10k distance, all those fast races will help improve 10km pace. If you are one of many running the National Half marathon a week later it will be a great opportunity to get into race mode. It is the third of six races in the 2014 Mayo AC C&C Cellular Move2Improve Series, so plenty of points on offer at all three levels. The course is over a one lap AAI measured and permitted circuit. The start and finish line is just a few metres away from the Race HQ at the Community Centre
For the younger athlete the Sheebeen 2k for under16s takes place at 6.30 with prizes for top 3 boys and girls.
Online entries at www.runireland.com are open until Fri 26th July. Registration will be open in the Balla Community Centre from 5pm on race day Sat 26th. Entry fee is 20 euro.
