Another brilliant silver for Pauline Moran in World Masters 10k

Following her brilliant silver medal in the 8k cross-country on Monday, Pauline Moran was back competing this morning at the World Masters Athletics Championships in Toruń, Poland.

It was a lovely sunny day in Toruń, (no pun intended), though a chilly 4°c as the field of men and women of all age categories assembled at 10am on the 10k start line. The race was over an out and back 5k course.
Pauline ran another fantastic race and came home in a brilliant time 42:13 to win another silver medal in her W60 category.
W60: 1 ADAMSON, Christine (NZ) 41:55, 2, MORAN, Pauline (IRL) 42:13, 3 SACHS, Christine (GER) 43:44, 4 REILLY Nuala (IRL) 45:39 .
Two races, two world masters silver medals.
Congratulations Pauline! More mighty stuff from our Mayo AC star.
She says “feeling great, perfect conditions, lovely course, perfect weather, nice cool breeze”.
