April 21 at Foxford: 2nd Annual Run for Boylo results

Sunday April 21 at Foxford: Run for Boylo 10k (370 runners and walkers) . Results attached updated by Action timing (23/04) due to  ‘change to women positioning’.

Men 1 John Mannion 33:50; 2 John Byrne (Mayo AC) 34:13; 3 David Tiernan 35:08.

Women 1 Sarah Syron (Mayo AC) 39:23; 2 Ann Lennon 39:46; 3 Jen White 43:

Course reported to be slightly short. A pity for those in search of PBs. However, Well done to Sarah Syron who was very happy with her win and her first ‘sub 40’ 10k finish time. See comment attached from Race Organiser Gerry Devanney.

    Gerry here race organizer of RUN FOR BOYLO: Massive thanks to everyone who took part in our 10k run. Congrats to everyone who posted a PB,and to Sarah and Ann,who broke 40 min. If the course is short it is not by much – I ran it myself with the Garmin. We are going to have it officially measured for next year. Hopefully you all had an enjoyable experience with us in Foxford and maybe Sarah Syron and John Mannion will come back next year to defend their title.
