Castlebar Greenway 10 miler
All are welcome to run, walk, or jog this unique event organised by Mayo AC.
The second annual Castlebar Greenway ten miler takes place on an out and back course starting and finishing at Castlebar town park and includes eight miles (traffic free) along the Greenway, criss crossing bridges over the Castlebar river, with a two mile loop on public roads through Turlough village via the Round Tower.
It is an Athletics Ireland measured and permitted event.
The race starts at 10am, Sunday June 23.
There will be chip timing.
Water stations at 3 and 7 miles.
Entry arrangements: €25, registration at An Sportlann, Castlebar from 0830am.

Distance from An Sportlann to Castlebar town park = approx 1 kilometre.
Parking at An Sportlann.
It’s a club league event for Mayo AC members. Members not competing are asked to help out on and off the course.
Prizes: top three men and women, first o40, 50, 60 – men and women.
