Mayo AC weekend results

The Golden Triangle 10k tok place on Sunday over a one lap course
staring at Cross near Cong. There was a field of 40. Eoghan McGinley
(Cranford AC) was the winner in 32.28, with Brian O’Connor 2nd 35.10
and Noel Gibbons (Mayo AC) 3rd in 37.17.1st 050  PJ Hall (Mayo AC)

Women 1 Kathleen Barry (Partry) 42.39, 2 Gwen Daly (Ballinrobe) 45.19,
3 Pauline Moran (Newport) 49.26. 1st o50 Una McGrath (Mayo AC) 49.53 –
a personal best.

Other Mayo AC finishers included Andrew Lynskey 37.31, Brendan Hession
38.13, Christy O’Malley 43.10, Ambrose Gaughan 44.51, Cyril McGrath

On Saturday, presentation of prizes for the 2011 Sligo Credit Union
Road League took place at Sligo IT. The eight race league which began
back in March with the Tubbercurry 10k concluded recently with the
Grange 10k. Tom Hunt (Mayo AC) was the winner in the o60 section.

Elsewhere Ann Murray (Mayo AC) won the Women’s Masters race in the Connacht
Cross Country championships held in Galway on Saturday.
