Michael wins Inishbofin Half
News has just arrived that Michael McNeela won the 7th Annual Croí Inishbofin Half Marathon which took place last (Saturday 12th May) under glorious sunshine. There were 139 finishers in this exclusive and spectacular Island Half Marathon. Castlebar based Michael, crossed the line in a time of 1.30.08. He is a regular competitor and has been chipping away at his PBs over various distances in recent times.Well done Michael! (seen in photo receiving his trophy). Kelly Spring, a tourist from Boston who booked her Irish Holiday around the event, was the winning woman in a time of 1.42.03.
